Blepharoplasty upper & lower

Blepharoplasty is sugery for the correction of drooping eyelids, which is usually requested to take away that “tired, aged” look.

The procedure involves removing fat, muscle or excess skin from the upper and lower eyelids.

Blepharoplasty can be performed on its own or in conjunction with other facial procedures to restore a more youthful appearance. The procedure is conducted in our “minor procedure” room.  Medicare rebates may apply.

Micro-otoplasty

Micro-otoplasty is the term used for Cosmetic Ear Sugery. Cosmetic ear surgery can help patients who have been self-conscious about the size or shape of their ears. With state-of-the-art reshaping techniques, we can balance out the ears for a more symmetrical shape or excise the skin and cartilage to minimize pronounced ears. Otoplasty can be a confidence booster for people who have dealt with ear deformities from birth or injury.

Erbium Facial Laser resurfacing

Normal ageing, sun damage and smoking all contribute to the lines on faces. When these are not successfully treated long term with other methods laser resurfacing can be of benefit. The erbium laser is used to remove the top layers of skin under local anaesthetic, which requires about 10 days off work. The skin is smoother and continues to improve for up to 6 months. The pink or reddish colour can take some time to settle. Whilst it does have a significant recovery time and some risks are associated with this technique, it still produces the best results for acne scarring and sun damaged skin.
